Scorned Rhythm is a conpony, plain and simple. Except... it's not exactly that simple. While he is a conpony, yes, what makes this bastard of a stallion special is the artifact upon his neck. Having found a splinter of some ancient necromancer's shattered crown, Scorned now walks from city to city creating as much trouble as he possibly can, while stealing as many bits as he can carry in the ensuing chaos. Were he not such a weak spellcaster, he would have been able to properly work the shard - however, with his lacking ability, he's found that singing is the only way he can make it function. Therein lies his true talent: music. A smooth attitude and a smoother voice, Scorned was once known as a singer/songwriter by the name of 'Strummed Rhythm'. He kept local for a long time, with his partner, Miri Aspenwood, before stealing all of her lyrics for himself and disappearing. Part of his scams involve hosting concerts as the still-active Strummed Rhythm, letting the performance power the artifact. He has a trio of ghosts that provide backup vocals, though with enough smoke and mirrors, their ghastly visages are mistaken for special effects.
