Ember stared at the teen Dragon before her, a far cry from the runt she had befriended.

“S-Spike, it’s so good to see you. It’s been a while… you’ve grown.“

Spike chuckled. “ Yeah, I hit a major growth spurt, was a pain in the scales for a while.“

Ember laughed with him, but a slightly nervous laugh.

“ So what brings you here?” She asked.

Spike stretched his new wings and smiled.

“ I thought we could hang out, go flying. I’m still getting use to the wings.“

He outstretched his right claw.

“ Come on, we can have a race.“

Ember’s face started to heat up, she looked at his hand and back up to his eyes. The same soft eyes she knew, but more mature. She nervously reached out and grasped his claw.

“ O-Okay… let’s go.”

I loved this episode and I really hope Princess Ember returns. Let me know what you think.:)
