Maverick and Ocean Soul were all smiles as they were holding on to each of their foals; Stormy Tempest and Scorched Earth. Pride was beaming especially for Maverick as Stormy Tempest was crawling on his arm as he kept her close to him.

“Dada!!” She said smiling, giggling.

“Yes! Dada!!” Maverick laughed, gazing into his daughter’s eyes and sticking his tongue out at her teasingly, causing her to laugh, then looking back at Ocean Soul. “Stormy looks just like his mommy…”

“Mama!!” Scorched Earth, the elder of the two twins spoke, reaching to Ocean Soul’s nose as she held him tightly.

“Yes… mama is here, sweetie…” Ocean Soul was much more calming compared to Maverick’s more goofy nature. “Scorchie looks like his daddy… and may be a lefty like his mommy.” She said, noticing that Scorched was pointing with his left hoof.

“I never thought that we would be parents like this…” Maverick said as Stormy was giggling, looking at him. He made another face, causing her to laugh again. “Stormy will be a goofball like her daddy, no doubt.”

Ocean meanwhile tightened her grip on Scorched Earth, smooching him, careful not to burn herself from his fire mane. “Ah, Mavie… I’m so happy to have out foals in our life…” She then placed her head next to his neck, soaking it with her water mane.

“Me too, my love.” Maverick nodded back gently, a suddenly sleepy Stormy Tempest was struggling to keep her eyes open. “Looks like it’s time for a nap…”

“I can see that.” Ocean Soul smiled, carrying a sleepy Scorched Earth. She then gently took Stormy Tempest from Maverick’s arms, holding their twins as she began to sing gently and tenderly to the two a lullaby, the eyes closing gently of the foals.
