Personality: Very calm and quiet. Does not speak unless spoken to, or if he has a problem with you. Also can be very threatening and dangerous when needed

The darker (physically and mentally) twin, Gumdrop/Gummy is much calmer than his sister (and parents). He's usually the one to pull her tail - first out of trouble. His Cutie Mark, two candy canes crossed like swords, represents his desire to protect the sweet things in life.
Gummy is in fact named after the alligator, and is sometimes referred to as Chocolate Gummy
Gummy actually works at the schoolhouse in ponyville as Cheerilee's assistant. He loves children.
He constantly worries over his friends and family, giving him dark circles under his eyes.
Gummy is always there to protect other fillies and colts from danger and/or bullies. This has made him the target of many a schoolfilly's affections.
His Cutie Mark was earned later in his colthood. Being shy and small at the time made him an easy target for bullies. Yet after witnessing someone else get hurt via a bully, he learned he could tap into his Earth Pony Rock Farming strength to protect others.
Gummy has a deep jealousy that his sister was the one chosen to be the Element of Laughter. Oftentimes he wishes he were chosen instead, so that she may be free of the responsibility and so that he can further protect other ponies.
He absolutely hates sour things. No green apples for Gummy.
