Eros is the son of Midnight Moon from the world of Equestria, and Drake from the world of Esteria. This mixing of dimensional bloodlines have given him some special traits such as higher magical capacity like his mother, but the durability and longer lifespan of his fathers. He is quite a mamas boy, constantly wanting to be with his mother. Though unlike his paretns, he has no issue being in the sun, so when he wishes to go somewhere in the day, he goes with his Uncle Darkaito, his godfather who helped raise him since birth alongside Midnight and Drake.
