UPDATE: I feel it’s bland without the shading, so I did it.

The timer goes off from the oven and Bonbon, who was reading a book on the couch, quickly closes the book and rushes to the kitchen. She opens the oven, letting the hot air go out from the kitchen, but not too much that the alarms go off. Bonbon then opens a drawer to grab an oven mitt and puts it on one hand. She then carefully carries the tray out of the oven with that one protected hand. If I had magic, I could lift this tray without hurting myself, Bonbon says in her head. She then places her creation on the table; bread pudding. It may look unappealing, but the people in Ponyville love her bread pudding because it’s sweet.

“Dessert!” Bonbon calls out.

Upstairs, Bonbon’s best friend and partner, Lyra Heartstrings, was just laying down on their bed in an awkward position. As soon as she hears her girlfriend’s call, Lyra immediately wakes up. She quickly gets up, but because of her awkward position, she falls off the bed. After a few moments, Lyra quickly gets up and rushes downstairs.

Meanwhile, on the other side of town, Derpy Hooves and Doctor Whooves are sitting at a cafe, casually talking. It was their typical date. Suddenly, they stopped talking and looked at the direction to where Lyra and Bonbon’s house is. They then looked at each other, knowing exactly what the other is thinking. Even from far away, they had sensed the call. After leaving some bits on the table, Derpy and Doctor quickly dash off to the bread pudding.

Even as far as Canterlot, the call was sensed from two more. Octavia Melody was just walking around the city, doing a little shopping trip when she dropped her bags and stopped. She then quickly composes herself, picking up her bags, and runs to the train station. Elsewhere in Canterlot, Vinyl Scratch was in the middle of a rave, dropping some sick beats. When she sensed the call, she stopped what she was doing, leaving the music to repeatedly go on wub, much to the audience’s confusion. Without a word, Vinyl quickly leaves the club, resulting the event to be cancelled. At the train station, the train is leaving to Ponyville soon and Octavia and Vinyl accidentally bump into each other. After composing themselves, they started pushing each other on getting on the train, but they both get in just in time for the train to depart.

When the train finally reaches Ponyville, Octavia and Vinyl quickly gets off the train first, running towards Lyra and Bonbon’s house, but then they crash into Derpy and Doctor. After all four get up, they all look at one another, but Vinyl was the first to break contact and runs off. Derpy opens her wings to fly past Vinyl, leaving Doctor and Octavia to catch up. Meanwhile, Lyra finally goes downstairs to find Bonbon holding the bread pudding in the living room. Amortized by the spell, Lyra starts to drool and slowly heads towards the pudding. Just before Lyra even touches the dessert, the rest of the six bursts in. Up to this point, everything becomes chaotic, but to Bonbon, it’s just a typical Sunday to make some sweets for her friends.

Redrew another one. I really wanted to redraw this one because it looked really weird and out of proportion (especially Doctor haha)

I used a reference to make the background, but it does look a little off. Nevertheless, I’m pretty satisfied with the end result. Also, I added a little story to this artwork. I don’t know, it’s strange, but I enjoyed typing this (actually i have an exam soon, so this is great practice lol). And bread pudding. It kinda looked like bread pudding.
