Lunyx Fireheart was from Contora — a fire kingdom far outside the
borders of Equestria — eldest of many princesses to the King and Queen.
She found herself tending to the garden as a filly until a war broke out
between a neighboring kingdom. Forced into leading a squad of elite
flyers in the Royal Army she quickly fought her way up the ranks, but
due to a mistake in the finale battle she lost her wings, forcing her to
replace them with mechanical ones. After the victory for Contora a peace
treaty was signed saying that Lunyx was to be married to the neighboring
kingdom’s prince. In Lunyx’s refusal she was banished, and took only the
sword she used in the war with her. She traveled to Equestria, where she
settled down in Ponyville and met a mysterious mare, who left randomly
one day without reason. Mother of Rain
Sunburst. She hangs the Sword on her wall
as a reminder to never be manipulated in hurting anypony again.
