Dark hails from the northern land of Frosesthest, an accidental arrival
in Equestria after his ship was sunk in heavy storms. Since then he has
settled on the edge of the White Tail Woods, where he works as a
blacksmith and does odd jobs as the opportunity arises. The Equestrian
ponies know this enormous stallion to be quick to just anger, but even
quicker to laughter. He cares for his adopted colt, Dusk, and is
romantically involved with the flutter pony
