Well, what’s a Sherlock Holmes without an Irene Adler?

She’s the supposed love interest of the character and suspected late wife, although Holmes has been stated be quite womanizer with the young and beautiful, especially of his clients. Go figure.

But anyway, before you guys go ‘what the heck’ on this TOTALLY unexpected MLP FIM pairing and a few of you call me out for yet another ‘Twilight shipping’, let me clarify some things:

This picture was made to contribute to a story I’ve now started on FIMfiction.net, called “MMMystery of my Heart”, which is a story I’ve thought of back during the freshness of Season 2 when “MMMystery on the Friendship Express” aired before all the hype for “A Canterlot Wedding” began.

It was back in 2012 after the episode aired and my cousin had visited. I talked about the episode since she’s somewhat of an MLP FIM fan, and I joked about how maybe Twilight and ‘that Griffin with the French accent’ could make a cute pairing.

Of course, my cousin LOVES Twilight and she ADORED Gustave le Grand, and I really did take the pairing to heart, and even told her about my idea for a supposed story that’s the aftermath the events of said episode.

She encouraged me. And now, finally, after many months and a full idea in store, I’ve started on “MMMystery of my Heart”. And I thank her for that.

Sadly, after her visit ended, I barely have any contact with her since she lives in another state…and she doesn’t even return my phone calls. But that’s okay, it happens when it’s so long-distance, and I will look forward to the next time she visits.

But anyway, for anyone who has seen the cake mystery episode, you must admit that one of the BIGGEST highlights of that episode was that it features the second GRIFFIN we’ve seen so far in the series since Gilda! Griffins rock! And this guy has an epic design and even more epic French accent!

I mean, lots of fans have made romance fanfiction in centering around Pinkie Pie and Donut Joe and all I just WANTED was at least ONE story from the FIMfiction.net site that centered around Gustave. And maybe a romantic one if it didn’t hurt…

But I am kind of happy to be one of the first as well as perhaps be the absolute FIRST to create this pairing. It may not beat “Discordant Feelings”, but it could hold a candle to it in some ways. I hope this picture will set your mind to imagination and maybe even encourage you to read my story. And I LOVE his mustache.

After all, this isn’t the FIRST pony-griffin pairing in the fanbase…nudge**nudge**wink**wink……
