(Okay, we’ll compromise. Time skipping to night time, and then after night time we time skip to Hope. -FicFic)
The trio make their way first west, and then begin to turn south as the day advances. When the sun starts to hang low near on the rolling plains Joyride stops the party and tells the colt and filly to stand back.
Ruby looks at Joyride confused, but then her eyes go wide with shock as she watches the events unfold.
Joyride pulls what appears to be some sort of cloth out of her backpack. She grabs it by the edges and tosses it out, causing a large, circular house appear out of no where. Emerald recognizes this as the dwelling that he first met Joyride in.
“What in the-” Ruby says, still in awe.
Emerald asks why she is surprised, as she should have stayed in it when they walked from town all the way to Lord Sepulcher’s village. That took them more than a day didn’t it?
“Oh, well yeah but… I mean we pretty much marched straight to the woods. Not that we didn’t stop to rest or anything but…” Ruby says, not paying attention to the colt but instead watching Joyride fluff out some of the bushes near the front of the house and wiping a smudge away on a window with her hoof.
Joyride heads for the door and beckons them inside.
The filly enters and comments, “This is weird. So weird.”
