“Umm… twilight.” Fluttershy said, standing in the door. She had the look of a foal who had gotten caught with her hoof in the cookie jar. “I think there might be a problem with your brother.”

Twilight gently pulled away from Rarity and headed toward the door. “Problem?”

“I got a little carried away and I drained him dry. I killed him by accident.” Fluttershy said, trying not to make eye contact.

“Did you put him in the fledgeling halls?” Twilight asked, nonplussed by news of her brother’s ‘death.’

“I did, but um… we’re going to need to convince him to join us.” Fluttershy said, looking the lavender mare in the red eyes.

“I was just looking for you when Rarity side-tracked me, Fluttershy.” Twilight said, leading Fluttershy out the door into the hall.

“I found an old tome of vamponies, and I learned that only alicorns need to be convinced.” Twilight explained, walking with Fluttershy to the fledgeling halls. “When Shining Armor died, the True Night took control of his mortal mind. They don’t have the will of an alicorn princess.”

“So you’re not upset that I killed your brother?” Fluttershy asked. Twilight stopped just short of the door.

“He got back up, didn’t he?” Twilight smirked, pushing open the door to the cold fledgeling halls.

The hewn stone walls and the cold floor of the fledgeling halls were illuminated by the purple light of the window. The window itself was muted stained purple glass depicting a black sun. The strange, undoubtedly enchanted purple glass corrupted the life-giving sunlight from outside. in this place, the light could do nothing to the creatures that inhabited these cursed halls.

There, sitting on a sleek black casket was none other than shining armor. The handsome, strong bodied unicorn looked just as he did in life, save for two red eyes and protruding fangs in his lips. His briefs had been replaced with black trunks, a leather harness, cuffs with rings, and a spiked collar.

“Shining armor? How are you feeling?” Twilight asked.

“Ready to go.” Shining armor replied with a wicked grin.
