Description:
Emerald decides to head back and try to find Joyride to do a seance on the skull. It’d be nice to go look at guns, but Emerald feels like he probably shouldn’t do so until he has the money for one.
Emerald and Ruby head back to #304 Coursewalk and the colt knocks on the door. Joyride appears like she has been recently, in front of the long dark corridor, with Pip’s book held at her side.
“Oh. Yeah? What’s up? Have ‘fun’ with Sensoria?” Joyride asks with a smirk.
Emerald nods and Ruby says,
“Yeah, she taught him some cool magic, and I got to watch the soldier’s train!”
Ruby then swings her hoof around like she is holding a weapon, and Joyride nods and says,
“Good, maybe you’ll quit bugging me for spells for a little while. Which ones did she teach you?”
Emerald explains the spells he learned, and then asks Joyride if she has any ‘work; for him.
“I can try to find someone, but speaking of which I have an errand for you Ruby.” Joyride says, looking at the filly.
Ruby stops what she is doing with a sigh, and perhaps copying the guards further stands at attention while she waits for instructions.
“I need you to grab some stuff for me, and speak with some people.” Joyride says, pulling out a small coin purse and a quill and parchment. She then scribbles something and continues, “Here are there names, addresses, and what I need. Go now unless you want to wander around the seedier parts of Whiterwater at night.”
“Wouldn’t be the first time I’ve done it.” Ruby says, taking the purse and the scroll. She then dashes off.
“Anything else you needed, lil’ perv?” Joyride says, leaning on the door frame.
Emerald asks if they can do the seance with Cherry’s skull.
Joyride shrugs, and pulling it out from her mantle says,
“I guess. Gimme a few minutes to finish up something and set everything up for the ritual.”
