Ebony Orchid (Kokutan no ran) and Hazy Kiss (Kasunda Kisu) married very young as was par with the course for their families. Their union was arranged and Ebony Orchid was terrified; she’s only met Hazy once and wasn’t sure about him. For generations Ebony Orchid’s family have been bound to other bat ponies with the darkest of fur and eyes of purples and grey...so her marrying when she became of age was something she had to prepare for her whole life.
Hazy Kiss was a bit older than Ebony Orchid and was the son of the emperor of a neighboring empire. He took his job as a general very seriously and was also unsure of being married - it meant he had another duty to fulfill and he wasn’t sure if he could do it right. Hazy Kiss and Ebony Orchid married under a full moon and shortly after the mare was with child. During this time the two got to know each other more and Hazy showed himself to be attentive and loving towards his wife and unborn foal. Since the stallion wasn't the firstborn, he wasn't going to be the next emperor of his homeland so he had copious times to be with his family when he wasn't called away by the military. They had their son, Midnight’s Kiss and promised him the world. They are training him to become the next emperor and they know he will be a good leader.
Now...they are getting older and can relax more now. Hazy Kiss is a flirt even though most of his one liners are super silly and kind of dumb. Ebony Orchid loves her silly husband.
Parents!! The Kisunators! Ebony Orchid is the daughter of the current emperor so her and Hazy’s marriage was definitely in the stars. Two warring provinces could mend their rivalry with a marriage and they did.
Ebony was definitely a gorgeous mare when she was younger. She is still beautiful but thinks gravity is being mean to her. Humph. Hazy loves all her sagging parts, lol. Their cutie marks are in the works but Ebony’s is actually a clown...since her talent does lie in being silly and entertaining others, much to her parents’ horror. They had to tell her to act ladylike in front of her to-be-husband but Hazy actually adored her jokes and the way her eyes crinkled when she grinned.
I wanted to show Midnight's parents. Midnight looks a lot like his mom but he has a lot of his father in him too. Bat ponies are actually super furry but most trim or shave if they are in more prestigious circles. Hazy just don't give a fuck tbh.

Yes, his mom was supposed to be an earth pony but I think it makes more sense if he was a full blooded bay pony. I edited those parts out and I have to link his parents in his bio back here...but for now, I sleep.
