“Goodbye mom!” Eris waved a paw to her mother Fluttershy as she trotted out of the school, leaving the small creature all alone. “Um… I think my first class is uh… Math?” She looked around the school for a moment and sighed, sitting herself down on the ground. “I have no clue where I am.”

“I mean, yeah, I am the daughter of Rarity, element of generosity AND Applejack, element of honesty. Both of them have saved the world like a hundred times.”

Eris turned her head over to the commotion, and was suddenly taken aback by the beautiful filly standing just a few feet away from her. She had a coat as white as a slightly toasted marshmallow, and a mane that looked like it had been created from the sun itself. How was that possible? Eris didn’t know. All she knew was that an absolute goddess seemed to be going to her school.

She felt herself grow hot under her fur, and she quickly ran outside of the school to get some air.

“Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh!” Eris hopped up in the air and smiled. “I’m going to school with the most beautiful mare eve-” She covered her mouth with her paws. “Is it normal to feel so excited about another girl? What if ponies think I’m weird? Oh dear…”

The day Eris first lays eyes in Zircon. Ahh, young love. But she doesn’t know she’s in love. I know this is kind of like love at first sight, but Eris seems to be awe-struck by Zircon here. Hopefully her little crush works out, right? Hopefully, but probably not. We’ll see. (;
