After forever I finally made a ref for Cortland. This is Ginger Gold’s big brother Cortland. He is the first son of Fluttershy and Big Mac. I made him a pegasus, since I noticed a lot of my next gens I am planning are earth ponies. Cortland carries a white bag with treats, a whistle, a leash, and some other things he uses to train animals. He has freckles on his neck and under one of his eyes, a stockier build like his father, and lives on the ground like his mother. 

He is a more outgoing pony than his quiet parents but he isn’t particularly loud either. Just social with other ponies and animals. His talent is training animals, and he uses this to help ponies with difficult pets, train animals to help the Apple farm, and to help rescue animals be prepared for being adopted. He wants to build a rescue shelter next to his parent’s cottage and manage it alongside his mother to help animals and find them happy homes with ponies.

He’s pretty relaxed and down to earth, with a slow drawl at times he picked up from the Apple Family. He rarely gets worked up but he is passionate about helping animals. Cortland is also very, very serious about his mane. The vanity is odd in his family lineage, bordering on a Rarity-like intensity on how much he pays attention to his hair, but he can’t help it that it looks so good.

One day I’ll do properly formatted refs OTL But for now, just need to get the concepts down.
