I have always been so excited to do an art trade with Azure-Art-Wave and I finally got the nerve to ask (since I’m a huge scaredy-cat who is always worrying about bothering people)!

Let me just tell you that I absolutely adore these two! Their names, designs, and backgrounds are fabulous. Check Azure-Art-Wave ‘s version of them here:

I wanted to draw something I read about in their bios. 

“[Friday] is very very energetic and can’t seem to sit still or focus in one single thing for long, and truly has a talent for making things blow up and catch on fire. Fortunately, Sunday is there to put out his messes, she’s often seen dragging rainclouds around to put out the fire and explosions.”

I really wanted to challenge myself a little with this art trade and step out of my comfort zone to make this picture more of a scene from what I read about them. This was so much fun to do and hopefully I can do another art trade with Azure sometime!
