Well since I’ve been doing tons of vector work lately, I figured it was time to do this.  I have had that Penny puppet ever since I made my vector of young Spike, I just never showed it here.  Percy was made using some parts from my version of grownup Spike but I made him significantly thinner of course.  Also, Percy has had some major updates with the shape of his legs and the fact that he no longer has white finger and toenails anymore cuz they’re just too annoying to have to vector and getting them to blend into the blue part over the lines is hard to figure out.  I originally wanted his legs to resemble Discord’s dragon leg but since my version of grownup Spike doesn’t have those types of legs, I figured I’d make Percy’s legs more simple like you see.  He’s also got wings similar to how Spike’s look but still has kept the overall uniqueness of his design like his side fins and spikes and such.  Same basic face as grownup Spike but I tweaked it to make it different.  I actually came up with Percy’s design several years ago so technically my grownup Spike was inspired by him.

Anyway, time for some context for those of you who are knew to this.

These two cuties are my dragon OCs, Perseus (Percy) and Penelope (Penny).  I made them for my fanfiction project “Age of the Alicorns: Chaos Rising” which I’ve been working on since 2012.  They were adopted by Celestia and Luna’s parents and grew up with the princesses and play important supportive roles in the story.  Percy is the protective, slightly timid big brother and Penny is the feisty, determined little sister.  They are quite different and can sometimes get on each others nerves but love each other unconditionally and consider themselves part of the royal family.
