A flash of pink, glittering light filled the castle of friendship for a split second and was then followed by a loud scream. Just another typical Sunday for the Ponyville residents.
“Discord!” Twilight Sparkle shouted in shock, “You were supposed to be watching her!” The princess’s words shook with worry as she gazed up at her daughter Ophelia’s giant, melon-shaped cranium. The baby spit her tongue and laughed loudly, flailing her now relatively tiny arms in triumph. She had successfully enlarged her entire head with a spell. The small draconequus cooed and grabbed at her mother’s horn, who still stood there in shock.
“Twily, you know that it’s rude to interrupt somebody that is in the middle of casting a spell! Didn’t Celestia teach you anything? Tsk tsk…” Discord mocked her as he inspected his hell-spawn, impressed with her work. “Not bad for a one month old if I do say so myself!” he praised, patting Ophelia’s swollen head and ruffling up her hair. He glanced over to his wife and closed her gaping mouth with his tail and placed a taloned claw on his chin. “Now the only problem is how do we change it back…”
Twilight’s face flushed with rage, “She’s a baby! What do you mean that “it’s rude”?!” she shouted, stamping her hoof, “and why wasn’t she wearing her horn cap?! Aye, my family will be here any minute and what will they think when they see our baby like this?” Twilight cried out hopelessly, she sat down on the floor and lowered her head in defeat. It wasn’t easy reversing a baby draconequus/alicorn hybrid’s spells. She’d tried many times as this wasn’t the first incident of strange occurrences in her household. She’d just have to patiently wait for Oph’s spell to wear off or for her daughter to reverse it herself.
Ophelia suddenly reared back and began to tip over due to her new top heavy body, her miniature arms flailing as she gently fell back onto the floor. She looked at her defeated mother with joy filled eyes and tongue still spitting at her, clapping her hoof and paw together happily.
Discord roared with laughter at the thought of what Twilight’s family would have to say about their daughter, tears filling his eyes as he relished in the thought of an uncomfortable dinner with his child looming over the entire meal with nothing but eyes filled with menace. Or so he hoped. Ophelia would more than likely just struggle to eat her peas and cast another disastrous spell, this time just with a larger audience!
