Story - The Shy Family in Rio

Summary: Fluttershy takes her family in Rio, Brazil for a vacation that she has promised.

"So nice that you would take us for a vacation in Rio de Janeiro, my beloved daughter." Mrs. Shy told Fluttershy, looking calm and sweet as usual that her daughter her invite her, her husband and Zephyr Breeze for a vacation in Brazil.

"It is an honor, mom, dad and brother." Fluttershy replied, looking so shy and nervous that she has never taken her family on a vacation before.

"I just like it how the place is warm and it has beautiful beaches and big palm trees around." Zephyr Breeze said, already feeling the very hot temperature and the sun was shining right on him which was just his day.

"Like they say, you can have a vacation at any time during any season, cold or hot, I prefer either way it goes." Mr. Shy said with his gentle voice.

The Shy family looked at the beach in front of them, noticing people are around watching them and they would know that the ponies are in the real world.

"Mind if I introduce you to the humans?" Fluttershy asked her parents and her brother, really wanting her family being recognizable from the humans as much as she is. "The humans would be so happy to see you all!"

"That would be brilliant!" Mr. Shy agreed with excitement as he was looking just as happy as his daughter that he will be seeing the humans.

Fluttershy, Zephyr Breeze, Mr. and Mrs. Shy all walked towards the beach closer where the humans are, in which Fluttershy can get the humans into knowing her parents and her brother.

"Um, hello, humans..." Fluttershy said nervously towards the humans making them grab her attention. "I'm Fluttershy, and these are my parents and my brother, Zephyr Breeze. They haven't been in the real world as much as I have, but I just wanted you humans knowing my family more like you do with me."

Humans, including children from some families, came over and shook hands with Zephyr Breeze, Mr. Shy and Mrs. Shy nicely, welcoming them for the first time.

"Pleasure meeting you three!" said one woman with blonde hair and having pink glasses with purple shades, feeling so happy that she is interacting with Fluttershy's family. "We always welcome guests in this country!"

"Oh, thanks." Zephyr Breeze replied, accepting the comment from the lady about welcoming guests. "I wanna be just as popular as my big sister, who cares about me." He added, as he wants the same attention as they do with Fluttershy.

The humans really started liking Fluttershy's family, as it seems they are nice and caring, though Zephyr Breeze is not much like this, he still wants to be nice and less clumsy like he was in the past.

"You ponies enjoy the fun." said a male citizen, who wished the Shy Family best luck as they continue staying in Rio, Brazil.

Resuming from where they last left off just now, Fluttershy chooses to stay with her parents while Zephyr Breeze would go forward and talk with the humans so he can improve himself and be just as popular as his older sister.

"Make sure you be respectful towards the humans, Zephyr." Mrs. Shy told Zephyr Breeze, as she didn't want him being selfish and be more like a respectful stallion like she wants him to be.

"I promise I won't be selfish." Zephyr Breeze replied, promising his parents that he is gonna be smart and nice like he said he would be.

Although staying with her parents, Fluttershy seemed worried that her younger brother might do something the opposite that he had promised. "Um, shouldn't I go with him?" She asked her father, as she would wanna keep an eye on her brother for his safety. "I feel like he may end up messing things up."

"Don't feel so nervous, daughter." Mr. Shy said as he knows that Zephyr Breeze has made the promise to be nice towards the humans. "As long as your brother keeps his promise, everything is gonna work out just fine."

"Yes, and he does wanna be well liked in the same way you are, so this is his chance so he can improve himself and try doing it on his own." Mrs. Shy told Fluttershy, comforting her.

Fluttershy eventually accepted her parents' offer and they all walked away, Mr. and Mrs. Shy started dancing in the style that is most popular in Brazil called the "Samba" dance, in which Fluttershy looked surprised and nervous seeing her parents dancing for the first time.

"I-I never seen you dance before..." Fluttershy said, witnessing her parents dancing.

"Um, we are actually learning how to dance." Mrs. Shy nervously told her daughter, while she and her husband continued the Samba dance in front of Fluttershy.

"Don't you wanna try and dance with us?" Mr. Shy asked Fluttershy, as he believed Fluttershy would be interested in dancing with her parents.

"Um, I think I'll pass." Fluttershy declined, preferring she would just have fun without dancing.

Although Mr. and Mrs. Shy felt disappointed that Fluttershy didn't prefer dancing at all, they respected her opinion knowing that Fluttershy still cares about them and Zephyr.

Meanwhile, Zephyr Breeze was with the humans so that he can be the same like Fluttershy.

"So, how's it going with the family you are with?" asked one male citizen, who was with his wife, and wondering how connected Zephyr Breeze was with his family.

"Currently, still trying to find another job." Zephyr Breeze, as he was previously fired from his role as a Canterlot Guard. "Getting a job isn't always that easy like it does with my older sister. She does mostly better at her jobs in contrast with me."

"Don't feel so upset that a job isn't always easy." the husband's wife replied, who would let him know that finding another job can't be always difficult as long as he tries hard.

Zephyr Breeze looked a bit more calm following what the woman was telling him, and he believed that finding a job somewhere in the real world would be much more entertaining compared with one in Equestria.

"You know, Fluttershy and Rainbow taught me the same thing when I was being a mane therapist, my first job." Zephyr Breeze said, remembering how doing things on his own was with the help from others.

"Don't you wanna try getting a job right now and not wait until the last minute?" the wife asked Zephyr Breeze, giving him a chance to find a job now and not later.

"I'm gonna try doing that some time in the future." Zephyr Breeze said as he still wasn't so sure about getting a job now as he did not like messing up a job for the third time. "I must learn every other jobs before I can reach my third one. It'll take a while, though."

Zephyr Breeze waved goodbye at the humans behind, who appreciated him being nice and respectful, just like how his parents told him from earlier.

"Sister, I'm back." Zephyr Breeze called out for his sister's name, approaching her with happiness that he was in with the good news carried with him.

"Oh, what is it that you wanna tell me?" Fluttershy asked Zephyr Breeze, also feeling excited what the good news would be. "Oh, come on, little bro, I know this news you wanna tell me will have me surprised!"

"The good news is, I am planning on getting another job." Zephyr Breeze told Fluttershy, which she found exciting at first, but was a bit shocked about getting another job.

"But, you already had two jobs and you still plan on finding a third one, just so you would mess up?" Fluttershy asked, looking confused about why Zephyr Breeze would have a third job that she would not be sure about, which could lead him into being fired again.

Zephyr Breeze understood his big sister's words, but he still admitted that he is not gonna mess up when he gets a third job, knowing there's always another chance in him left.

"Even if I don't succeed on my third job, I'd still need the help from you." Zephyr Breeze said, as he would want her helping him on his third job whenever he's ready for it. "Trying it on my own as before isn't always such an easy task."

Mr. Shy and Mrs. Shy returned, seeing that Zephyr Breeze has finally arrived.

"Son, I knew you would be back." Mrs. Shy hugged Zephyr Breeze, never she could be without her son knowing he has a caring heart for her.

"Everything's gonna be just a nice and chilling day, right?" Mr. Shy asked, watching the sky above being clear and nice.

The other three agreed, nodding, and they decided that they would stay in Rio for some days and with Zephyr Breeze deciding he will find a third job, Fluttershy and her parents would help him find one job that may not be messed up again.
