Big Mac’s eyes bolted open, a furious blush already beginning to burn it’s way onto his chubby cheeks as he turned to address the speaker.
It was Ms. Cheerilee, his sister’s teacher and his childhood schoolmate. He never had admitted to her his feelings, and she had only grown lovelier with time. Now here she was, smiling and waiting eagerly for his response as though she hadn’t literally caught him with his fur wet.
“E-eyup!” Big Mac managed to squeak out.
Celestia, he must have looked like a beached whale…
