History; Accidental pregnancy from a what-if relationship between Applejack and Troubleshoes, Cortland spends a lot of time wondering if his mother really even wanted him since his Dad left them when it really didn’t work out. It takes a lot of Applejack love to convince him he’s not. He was born and raised right on Sweet Apple Acres, and despite having a show talent rather than an apple talent, he tries to help out by booty bumping trees since he’s too big to buck them. 

Personality; Cortland is a chill dude, he doesn’t get angry or even annoyed and is always curious about what others are doing. He spends a lot of time trying to please ponies and make everyone feel happy because he’s terrified that others wont want him around. Due to his big size, he’s clumsy like his dad, but he’s also a major crowd pleaser. He’s stubborn and a bit oblivious like his mom, but he has a good heart.
