This week I declared Diamond Dog Week, ‘cuz I didn’t feel I drew enough Diamond Dogs in general. Could use some practice, as they are actually pretty neat.

Started out with drawing Scruffy, a random character from a dream a while back, a Diamond Dog Space Pirate who is so fluffy I don’t even know if they are a mare or female. I got no clue. But fun to doodle anyway. SAved a space station from getting taken over by a hungry swarm of space parasites by calling time-out and pointing out no one wanted to get eaten alive if it really had to be THAT painful. Yes, in my dream that actually worked, talking reason to the swarm. Somehow. It now lives of the already dead and trash, locked away in a big storage tanker.

Rowena turned into a Diamond Dog on request, ‘cuz why not. Ain’t she cute?

Butcher is an old OC of mine from RP’ing with MisterMech. In Goatham City, a huge hub of a city in Equestria, you can find all sorts of creatures living there. Herbivores as well as carnivores. To keep the carnivores fed they can go to Meat Town in Goatham, a place for all the meat lovers to go grocery shopping. All meat imported from outside Equestria of course, as slaughtering living animals are considered rather barbaric by the ponies. And of course it creates a big black market for those wanting the more… fresh variety of meals. Butcher’s employer’s specialty was offering pony meat, especially foals from troubled homes no one really expects to be missed.

Butcher’s only regrets in life was to get in the way of his boss during a fight with the law, leading to a broken neck. RiP crazy old dog.

Starfish is another tumblr dog, from My Little Changeling. Second time I have drawn her and second time I have drawn her looking rather uneasy. For some reason, considering how she’s usually depicted. Dunno why. Just… fun to draw.

And finally little Brownie, of AngryLittleBurd’s creation for our RP. A cute, fluffy little Diamond Dog pup who had an unfortunate period of his life. His momma slapping him a bit too hard, smashing his arm so badly it had to be amputated and it was decided he couldn’t go back home to his pack. For now just trying to adjust to the change while preparing for the promised prosthetic a nice earth pony promised to make him.
