Page 1282 – Product Recall

In the middle of this arc, I was a bit worried that Pinkie Pie was ending up a bit more restrained and openly savvy than she usually is. Some of which could be chalked up to her embodying a different character with a slightly different nuance in personality…

But in retrospect, it kind of makes sense, because a lot of the other characters in this narrative were downright BONKERS. Still one of my favorite season finales from the show, but boy is there a lot of insanity to go around.

DM: You don’t really see it from inside the chamber, but that expanding sphere of magical light goes beyond the walls of the school and becomes a wave that passes over the entire world. As the wave travels, each creature’s magic breaks off and merges with its original owner. Unicorns can cast again, pegasi can fly, artifacts power back up, magical beasts regain their properties… It’s hard to overstate the magnitude of what you’ve done.

Ocellus (TS): Also kind of highlights how terrifyingly misguided Cozy Glow’s plan was.

Gallus (RD): I was going to go with “stupid and dumb,” but alright.

Silverstream (PP): There were a lot of silly ponies in this adventure today. Like, I felt like I had to be one of the sane ones, and that’s just WEIRD.
