Hey guys!

In today’s episode, something many people have been waiting for or speculating about finally happened – Spike is growing up and grew wings^{^}

I immediately had to take that chance and draw him flying happily with his new pair of dragon wings, up in the sky and enjoying this new experience, also praciting his skills :)

This drawing… whew, it took me way longer than it should have. What others manage to do in like 3 hours is something I need 7 hours for… seriously, I have no idea why it took me so long actually and still looks pretty rough and not as detailed as I was hoping it would. Anyways, I had fun working on it on my Mobile Studio and in a kinda realistic style, playing with shading and a plastic looking effect. Still need to practice that.

In the end, I am proud of this piece and the work that flew into it, but it also made me realise I still have much to learn and to develop my techniques. It’s kinda frustrating that it took me so long while others can do that in no time and even better looking. Anyways, it’s something xD

I’m also proud of Spike becoming older and more mature, it’s progress for him and for the series^{^}
