You tell Max to give Misty the Scepter Which he does and you send Misty through the hole first followed by Max and them yourself.

While crawling through the hole you answer Misty. “Honestly, I thought that would work a whole lot better than it did! Misty, I’m sorry but if we make it out of here I’ll try to make it up to you or something. By the Way, this is Max And Max, this is Misty Horizons, that Pegasus I told you about.”

Max answers, “Yes, I remember her.”

As you exit the the hole, you are greeted by the sight of a battle between the unicorn guard and the pegasus air-force. Max seems to stop to look at what is going on. Maximilian seems to be less disoriented now as he looks at the burning town.

You interrupt Max’s brooding. “Max, I want to head toward Earthpony territory.”

“That would be to the west, which is good because the south toward Canterlot and West Toward Earthpony lands are the fastest ways out of the city.”

You recognize south by southwest as the direction of the vineyard.

As the three of you head West you notice that Misty isn’t using her wings at all, choosing to keep them tightly tucked in.

On your way west you are stopped by two Pegasus. The Large Stallion of the two pegasus addressed Misty. “Step aside child, and let us bring a swift end to these unclean vermin.”

Misty wrenches her head to you and you see a look of confusion and indecision on her face. Like she wants an answer from you before she makes her choice. These pegasus don’t look like the kind that can be bribed.

What do you do?
