You try to keep the pressure on him. You continue you assault while also attempting to keep him away from his hammer. You know that you can’t let him get anywhere near that hammer and if you keep him moving long enough, that nasty gash and fatigue will wear him down.

You decide to try appealing to his better senses again. “Honestly, i’m as surprised as you that i’m still alive. pretty sure the boss sent me here to die or at least get maimed. By the way, do you know a pony named Mis-”

The pegasus interrupted you with a colossal swing of his breastplate turned into a shield. Your world stops and resets again as the impact from his swing sends you into the ground.You feel pain inside your ears you grit your teeth and slowly recover from his hit. You feel the world spinning upward as you regain your barrings.

You’re a little dazed but you senses are quickly returning to you.

You see close by is his hammer, still discarded on the ground. You might be able to reach it before he can. But it will leave you exposed if he tries to hit you again. You’re not sure if you can take another blow like that. You have the chance move away from the pegasus to give yourself a moment to recover. But he’ll be able to get his hammer back if you do.

Fortunately the pegasus has not pounced on you… at least yet.
