Emerald slowly approaches the altar, checking the pews as he goes. He sees nothing worth taking, but he does notice how clean the place is, at least compared to the other places in this village.
There are clear layers of dust in some places, but in others it looks like someone… Or something has been sitting on them.
Emerald makes it to the altar and examines the statue again. It’s quite creepy.
He looks at the symbol on the tapestry again.

He can’t quite put his hoof on it, but he recognizes the symbol as someone of great infamy from the long past. He thinks it was an invader of some kind.
Emerald looks around the altar, but other than the candles and the tapestry there doesn’t seem to be anything here.
