A few nights later, the off-duty Batpony stallion arrived at Verdant’s doorstep. She wasn’t that hard to locate after asking around Ponyville. The Batpony promptly introduced himself as Novilunium, or Novil, for short.
Seeing how exhausted Novil was after his tough night shifts, Verdant invited the stallion over for dinner that night. He hesitantly accepted the offer. The two talked and shared things about one another over a tasty dinner.
Verdant couldn’t help but keep glancing downwards at the stallion’s body the entire time.
