Being Twilight isn’t easy. A princess, a mom, and having to save Equestria from certain death can be exhausting. She handed royal duties over to Flash so she could catch up on rest. As she was about to settle down, she heard giggling racing towards her room’s door, and heard the door switch click open. She lazily moved her body around to see who it was, and to her shock it was her son Cosmic Dawn, or as she calls him, Dawny, well.. levitiating by himself?

She jolted up, fear and amazement stricken on her face, gazing up at the young unicorn. “D-Dawny where did you learn to do that? That is an extremely hard spell to master at your age.. Wait hold on did Starlight teach you it?”, she snuffed, knowing the unicorn mare was the only one else she knew who could levitate themselves.

“NNNope!”, Cosmo beamed, “Read it all by myself. I wanna become as good as you are with magic, mom. So I kinda snooped around the library to find some spell books with the spell! But yeah.. Starlight kinda inspired me to learn it..”

“Boy, I knew you were smart, but reading spells and actually doing them at your age is astou..”, she yawned, “Ahh.. Astounding.”

Cosmic shakily lowered himself down, but ended up letting go of the spell too early, causing him to stumble and fall forward. “Ah- Are you alright?!”, Twily exclaimed.

“Haha..”, Cosmo laughed, standing back up, “Yep!”

Suddenly, Cosmo’s flank began to emit a glow, and with a sparkling pop, his cutie mark appeared on his flank.
