World, meet Somber Soliloquy or Soso as most of his friends call him

He’s the son of Trixie Lulamoon and….who the HELL KNOWS

I decided that I was going to keep the other parent shrouded in mystery [though I’m highly aware who this pony is] because he was raised in Canterlot with Trixie with no secondary intervention

Trixie is still some variant of parlour performer but now going for more of a theatrical spin on her performance

She’s a magician, yes, but she also branches out a bit and becomes a full fledged actress!

Her job while invigorating keeps her very busy which is why she gets Soso a cat [named Legend] and allows him to go train with Twilight Sparkle when the opportunity rears it’s head.

Soso is a quiet but friendly stallion who enjoys a good book. While he’s studious and well-versed in magic theory [a feat that is achieved over time] he’s most enamoured with nature.

His preferred realm of study would be rejuvenation and plant growth.

He often visits Ponyville or Neighagra Falls to escape the stuffy Canterlot environment and go for long hikes.

He’s good friends with Jasper Wish, Stellar Rays and Azimuth but isn’t opposed to meeting new ponies

Yes…I’m well aware that his hair looks like Rose Quartz’s from Steven Universe

His hair is less amazing however!
