Guest Author’s Note: “Since I’m still getting the hang of comics, this was an adventure in formatting. And using vaguely roguish-sounding terms in an attempt to sound like I know what I’m talking about. And drawing Rarity in a bunch of different outfits.

“Story time! Tell us about some of the hijinks characters have got up to off-screen (or just away from the rest of the party).”

Rarity: It’s good to get a chance to chat, darling. How’s D&D camp?

Rainbow Dash: Pretty good! I’m trying out a gnome bard this time around.

Rarity: A gnome bard. You. Really.

Rainbow Dash: What? I can try new things.

Rarity: …

Rainbow Dash: Fine, I lost a bet. So how’s your trip?

Rarity: It’s been just lovely. I’ve had enough time to see the sights, and even think about what Rarity’s been up to during our absence.

Rainbow Dash: Oh yeah?

Rarity: Absolutely! I need to run it all past the DM, of course, but I was envisioning Rarity plying her trade in Canterlot.

Rainbow Dash: Her… trade.

Rarity: Well, you know, I’d like Rarity to have a hoof in everything. Scoping out an art gallery for a heist. Conning wealthy museum patrons out of their bits at auctions. Meeting new contacts, sifting through gossip and rumours at the opera, smuggling contraband aboard a luxury yacht… And who knows? Maybe the DM will even leet me meet someone at the top! But enough about my character. I expect you’ve got plans for Rainbow dash?

Rainbow Dash: Oh. Well. Rainbow’s awesomeness needs some recharging between adventures…

Rarity: She slept the whole time, didn’t she.

Rainbow Dash: On the fluffiest cloud in Ponyville!
