Flim had always been rather persuasive.

Flim had his own way of collecting start up money for the contraptions that he and his brother build and market, conning unsuspecting tourists. Of course conning would imply that hed tricked them out of their bits. Flim was just very persuasive. A simple pocket watch to unknowingly distract them and a strong personality were all he needed to sell the most mundane of items for exorbitant costs. Depending on how susceptible the customer was, he could sometimes get more than just bits as well.

His latest sale? It was to a seasoned traveler, who had ventured out to the small western settlement. He traded an apple for the travelers sack of bits and the clothes off his back.

“40 bits,” Flim said, knowing full well the apple was worth 1 maybe 2 at most.

“ErrmI only have 10 on me right now,” Trenderhoof said dissappointed, he really wanted that apple.

It would have been a great profit, but Flim decided to have a bit of fun with this one, Well thats too badunless you had anything else you could trade along with it?

“Just what Im wearing, I left all my stuff back at my inn room,” Trenderhoof said.

“Thatll work,”

“Deal,” Trenderhoof began disrobing with enthusiasm. Only in his tighty whities, he placed his clothes and bits on the stand.

Flim tossed him the apple, You enjoy that, ya hear.

Flim would be long gone by the time Trender would finally realize how much he payed for an apple, in bits and dignity.
