"I'm so tired, I think I'd keel over if I had to write one more word," Gallus sighed loudly to his companion Sandbar. Though they were nearing their dorm room, it felt like climbing Mount Everhoof. "That essay on Generosity was so stupid," continued the frustrated griffon, "I know how to be generous! Why do I need to write all of the ways I can be generous? Can't my actions just speak for themselves... Er, themself? Whichever one is grammatically correct."
"Can't think straight, huh?" Sandbar gleaned.
"No, I can't!"
"Yeah, it's always hard for you think straight."
Gallus wanted to tell his "close friend" to shut up, but he was too tired. He did anyways, though. "Quiet..." he huffed, an unfortunate-- unfortunate for him, at least-- cute smile spreading across his beak. "The REAL reason I can't think," he carried on, "is because I feel like I haven't eaten in days! I owe Silverstream my life for getting us and the girls some real greasy food to eat tonight."
"Yeah! And hey, that's actually a pretty good example of generosity." the relaxed colt noted as the duo at last reached the door to their dorm room. He proceeded to open the door, not at all prepared for the jaw-dropping scene which laid within their room.
"Hey, Silverstream," Gallus casually greeted the room's sole denizen, "we're baaAAAAHHH!!"
His eyes widened, his pupils shrunk, his jaw dropped. Sandbar was also surprised, but, like, not nearly as dramatically.
Silverstream was on the floor, looking up at them without a discernable expression. She rested belly-down on what looked like a bean bag couch, but upon further inspection was somehow not a bean bag couch but the hippogriff's stomach. Her thin, concave belly, which before only had a bit of fluff to pad it, was now shockingly enlarged -- waterbed-like -- HUGE! Loud, noisy gurgles emitted from the cartoonishly gelatinous gut, and once the gawking onlookers eventually conquered their shock, they could discover why. And to add insult to injury, the bloated, stuffed ditz before them thought to say aloud what they had just pieced together.
"Hehehe... hilp!" uncontrollably hiccupped a bashful Silverstream, her wry giggle offering no softening of the blow, "Sorry, guys... I kinda ate... um, ᵉᵛᵉʳʸᵗʰᶦⁿᵍ."
The two guys said nothing. They just kept on gawking, having been robbed of speech by the cartoonish sight. Gallus tried to find the words, but he stopped momentarily...
A particularly deep gurgle roared from within the grease-filled glutton's busy belly. Silverstream's eyes widened. An air bubble-- a particularly large one-- made its way up her throat. She couldn't stop it, nor did she make any sincere attempt to. It traveled up her esophagus, soon causing her cheeks to swell, and... erupting into a thick, greasy bellowing, remarkably unladylike-
"BURP!"
...
The hefty eructation wafted right towards the two dumbfounded boys, quickly filling their nostrils... with the noxious aromas of what was once their food.
Gallus at last found the words he was looking for. Gathering himself, he blurted out:
"That was pretty hot."
...
"...Wait, that wasn't... what I meant to say."
