Original Portrait From Which It Was Taken: Discord Server Equestria At War

Lore Confederation of Southern States: United from the toils of the Civil War, the Confederation of Southern States has unilaterally declared it's secession from the Equestrian heartland. The nation has claimed to believe in the rights of its constituent states and ponies within them as well as supporting the values of Equestrian democracy.

However all is not well for the young republic, as various different factions strive for power, from the remaining Equestrian loyalists who disobey every order and law, to Rockfeller and his bussinesspony backers, and there still remains the question of what to do with the buffalos.

They have declared the important frontier trade city, Appleloosa, as their new capital.

Declaring their independence under J.D. Neighvis, the leader of the Coltlumbia party, mainly known for it's advocation for Southern independence, the secessionist state will have to navigate both forming a military and political turmoil if they wish to preserve their freedom in the storm that is the Equestrian Civil War.

Braeburn is an earth pony native to Appleloosa. He is the cousin of Applejack, Apple Bloom, and Big McIntosh, and the grandson of Granny Smith. Braeburn appears in the episodes "Apple Family Reunion," "Apple Family Reunion," and "Appleloosa Rodeo." Like most Apple Family members, his name is the name of an apple variety.

Biography: A member of the ancient Apple family, Braeburn was just a humble farmer before Equestria's descent into chaos. When the South declared independence, he rose to prominence as one of the most vocal opponents of the Neighvis government. Though he felt a fierce desire to simply march over the border and join the Equestrian army, his family persuaded him that his place was here, in Appleloosa. Instead, he joined the Equestrian Sun Party and quickly rose through its ranks through charisma and sheer force of conviction. Now the leader of a nation he wishes didn't exist, Braeburn is sure to align the South back toward Equestria. Whether that means requesting re-annexation or just fighting alongside the Princess remains to be seen.
