As the day starts, Claire, a young confectioner, is finishing putting in the last batch of muffins into the display. a newcomer in the world of baking, it was always her dreams to run a successful bakery. She just recently moved in to this town to pursue her goals.

The first days were relatively uneventful, a few kids here, a nice couple of ponies who were lost and asked for directions, and a few of the locals, who came in to check the new shop in town, made some decent sales, but nothing too crazy. Its okay though, the start is always slow, its all about growing a reputation, surely, the ponies that came in, would spread the word about her work.

Knowing this, she was still a little let down, one of the reasons she decided to move here, is because she heard a lot of rumors, that this town had some very... big fans of food and sweets. One of her friends straight up told her "They really need a new bakery there, the one they have just isn't enough to satisfy some of the locals!".

She let out a sigh, "boy, I wouldn't mind at least one of those big customers I heard about...". She went outside to flip open the sign to "open".

"Excuse me! is this Claire's Confectionery?!" she heard, from behind her, what sounded like a very enthusiastic stallion's voice, surprising her. She quickly finished flipping the sign on her door, and turned around to face the possible new client.

She was NOT prepared for what she saw. In front of her, was a brown pegasus with a red scarf, an excited expression, akin to a little colt's face when they just received a new toy for hearth's warming eve.

However, he was big. Not tall big, not muscular big, but fat big. No, big was an understatement, he was huge. It wouldn't be innacurate to describe him as an actual "butterball", his belly was so rounded out and hefty, it was was nearly touching the floor, even though he was standing. He was so wide... she could probably put herself and 2 other ponies side to side and still wouldn't be as wide as he was. He was...

"um... hello?" He said, breaking Claire out of her thoughts, she hadn't realized that she was standing there, with her mouth open, staring at this pegasus's body. She shaked her head and tried to get back into business mode.

"Oh! hello! I"m so sorry! Yes, this is Claire's Confectionery, we just open, would you like to come in?"

He went back to being excited, his eyes back to being lit up. "yes please! I've been dying to check out your bakery! It was a little far from me, so had to ask my friend Quick Trip for a ride here, otherwise I would have come an earlier day".

'Far? This town is incredibly small, you could walk to any part of it within an hour at most, and a pegasus could just fly and reach in 10 or less' she thought to herself, before realizing the very obvious observation, that a normal pegasus could, but a... walking fat balloon, probably struggle to get around, as she inspected him one more time, specifically the wings around his back. Those probably don't get a lot of use anymore.

She quickly dismissed the thoughts again, before she found herself staring for too long. She walks into the bakery with him. Er, she walked in, he waddled in, his entire body jiggling at every step.

They walk into into the main room, full of muffins, small cakes, different kind of sweet bread, a couple different chocolates and candies, probably enough baked goods to feed a dozen ponies, with more on the backroom ready to be prepared. Claire gets behind the register, and Winter starts looking around for a bit. It must have been just 1 minute before Claire suddenly heard a very loud

GROOOOWL. The loudest stomach growling sound she ever heard on her life, she couldn't help but let out a small yelp. "?! what was that?"

Winter awkwardly laughed, a small blush appearing on his face. "Sorry, that was me, I'm just very hungry..."

She blinked, 'wow...' she couldn't help to think.

"So, I decided what I want!" Winter continued.

Claire smiled at him, and took out her notepad, ready to write down what he will buy, he will probably buy more than just one or two muffins, so better be ready to write it down...

"I'll have everything".

"eh...?" her eyes shrunk, left speechless.

"Everything... on this display?" She was talking about the display she was behind on.

"Everything on this room... if that's okay?"

"O-oh of course its okay! you are the boss!" is this really happening?

"Oh, um, and may I request if I can have it to eat here before I leave? I know its a bit of an odd request but..."

'HE IS THINKING OF EATING IT ALL IN HERE NOW?! sweet celestia...' she didn't have to think too long about this one, if he was buying the entire baked goods she had already, might as well let him eat it here, maybe he will just eat a bunch of it, and leave with the rest, right?

...

Claire didn't expect to have to close the bakery for the day after just one customer...

But what a happy big customer she got!

As she waves him goodbye as he waddles away, his ridiculously huge stomach stuffed with all the baked goods she had ready earlier, she couldn't help but think back to the rumors she heard...

'I think they undersold how big these ponies are...'
