A little-known fact about skunkponies is that they're excellent cuddlers. If you're able to get past their strong odors, you'll find they give some of the best snuggles of any creature you can think of. Luckily for Pine Thunderoak, he happens to be friends with a skunkpony, so he gets to experience their legendary cuddling quite often.

After a long day of playing games and having fun together in the Everfree Forest, Pine and Jareth Guardstripe like to lay down on the soft grass and give each other a good snuggling. Sometimes one of them will spoon their partner's back, while other times they'll face one another and look affectionately into the opposing pony's eyes. Jareth also frequently wraps his big fluffy skunk tail around Pine to keep him warm, and Pine often wraps his wings around Jareth, pulling him in close. On some occasions, Jareth will even give Pine a friendly lick on the face, which the pegasus finds very sweet.

The two ponies feel a great sense of protection and comfort when they're cuddling together. All their troubles in the world just melt away, and their hearts go soft thinking about how much the other one cares about them. It's an extremely comfy experience, and both of them feel like they could just stay that way forever. Pine doesn't even mind Jareth's sharp scent. In fact, he finds it oddly cozy. Taking little whiffs of the skunkpony's odor helps soothe his nerves and makes him feel very relaxed. It's like a sour perfume mixed with a calming drug.
