So Jekyll has heard that the swamp ponies have a hard time finding a place to lay their eggs.
My idea is that their nest is like that of alligators and require the same method, they did try to have kids and some are around, but they need certain requirements to have kids of both male and female but sometimes they could only make one egg (that happened more than normal now.) maybe due to nutrition reasons, when they normally lay 1 to 3 eggs.
So let's we how they figure it out
