Bio: Discord is a major character in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

He is the nigh-omnipotent spirit of chaos and disharmony who once desired to turn all of Equestria into a chaotic wasteland without rules or logic. He is the reincarnation of Grogar, a former archenemy to Princesses Celestia and Luna, a major opponent-turned-ally to the Mane Six and Lord Tirek's archenemy. Long ago, he was defeated and turned to stone by Celestia and Luna using the Elements of Harmony, but then escaped a millennium later and did battle with the Mane Six, who turned him back into a statue. Later on, Discord was granted an opportunity to redeem himself by Celestia and was set free. He was resistant to this at first, but after learning the true value of friendship thanks to Fluttershy, he would become an ally and friend of the Mane Six instead; although he would still occasionally use his powers to antagonize them in various ways. During the events of "Twilight's Kingdom", he briefly returned to villainy after being manipulated by Lord Tirek into helping him steal the magic of Equestria until he was betrayed and stripped of his magic as well, leading him to redeem himself once more, becoming much more heroic afterwards.

He obtains the Bewitching Bell and gains all of his old magic. He also becomes more powerful, being a rival to Twilight.
