It's Flare Spark, the ponysona of former DA artist, MLPFAN3991, and she's gone Goth!

She's dressed in black, dyed her mane and tail to make them darker, has applied some shadowy eye shadow, and listens to Gothic Rock. It appears that she's always been darkly inclined. My ponysona (myself by extension) is also as such, usually staying up late at night until the sun rises - though he loves seeing it; loves animals that are considered creatures of the night, like bats and wolves, as well as dark-colored animals, like crows and ravens, and scavengers like vultures; Princess Luna is his favorite princess, and he likes seeing the overlooked beauty of the darkness and night. Perhaps Flare Spark is the same here. And it's likely that she's acquainted with The Goth Ponies, especially since they're rather friendly despite their spooky appeal. Maybe her girlfriend, Sunset Shimmer, inspired her to adopt the rocker look, and Sparky chose Gothic rock. She definitely looks great in her tantalizing tenebrous outfit.

Well, this was unexpected. The truth is the idea was inspired by former DA artist, josephurrutia7, who did his version of Goth Flare Spark, but as an Equestria Girl. She looked pretty great, so I decided to do my own version, but as a pony. I darkened her mane and tail, gave her the midnight blue eye shadow, and added the choker and spiked wristbands. However, it didn't seem complete. I reached out to our old friend, MLPFAN3991, and asked for anything else. She asked for a leather jacket or boots for her back legs. I stuck with the jacket, and the design is based on the one Fluttergoth offered Snow Worry (the Edward Scissorhands pony) in "Fake It 'Till You Make It." The jacket had no outlines, so I had to add them. Then, after I fit the jacket, I realized that the wristbands wouldn't work with the jacket. So, I turned them into anklets. In the end, this turned out better than I thought. Maybe I'll reuse this vector for another project, perhaps for World Goth Day in late May.
