So, there's a story to this image.

Ten years ago, Technaro, the most popular danpie artist in the community, closed her deviantart account and disappeared from the english-speaking internet. It also inspired the most popular danpie fanfiction ever, The Wheel And The Butterfly by derpi's very own Justice3442. Many fans loved her art, I've kept in touch with several of them and we've formed a sort of micro-fandom about her work.

Every year or so we do some very cursory searching to see if she's returned to making art, and every single year we found nothing. Until this year!

She has re-emerged on instagram and mostly draws art of her OCs. She's written an original graphic novel and is shopping it around to publishers.

I messaged her and asked about a commission of danpie art, like she used to make. She agreed, and drew this wonderful piece for me. I told her to take whatever creative liberties she wanted with their designs and the composition, I was just happy to get some art from my favorite artist.

If you've read this far and like her work, I would tell you to absolutely check out her instagram. But Please, PLEASE do not bother her with danpie requests or commissions. She left the fandom for a reason, isn't personally invested in the ship anymore, and doesn't want to be associated with the My Little Pony fandom. She was gracious enough to draw this piece for me, but I just didn't get the vibe that the wants to draw 15 more commissions of these two. Please just be cool for like, one second guys. Her original art is wonderful, go enjoy that.
