Emerald wonders if he should go after Joyride, or even see what she was looking at in the memory machine, but he thinks better of it. Right now, in Ruby's forelegs, This is where he wants to be.

After a short time, they part, and Ruby says, "Well hey, all this that happened... It might mean we are related right? I don't think I'd mind that at all!"

Emerald rubs some tears away and nods, saying that it would be pretty cool.

"You okay? At least for now?"

Emerald nods again, but he isn't really paying too much attention. He tries his best to remember something, anything, about his parents.

Unfortunately, he can't remember anything directly coming from his parents. He was simply too young at the time. He does remember a few things that his step parents said to him about his parents though.

He remembers it mentioned that she could use magic, and now that Emerald knows Sunshine was an earth pony, it's likely she had a focus of some kind.

He also thinks he remembers his step mother mentioning his father was a guard, but nothing about the names of either of his parents come to mind.

He feels a hoof on his shoulder again, and looking up he sees Ruby again. She has a look of concern on her face and says, "Hey, you sure your alright? Maybe we should hit the hay. It's probably getting pretty late."
