"Out, I need to-" Joyride says. She doesn't finish her sentence, but she begins to push the two foals forcefully out of the machine.

Before the two can even finish stumbling out the unicorn has dashed over to the shelf with the memories. She pulls a few down magically and runs back to the machine. She takes a minute two running in and out of the machine as Emerald sits there, watching.

He isn't sure what he should do. He isn't even sure why he is crying. Shouldn't he be happy he knows who his mother might be? Is it because it could possibly be Ruby's mother, or heck, it could even be Larimar's. Or maybe all three of them are related? Maybe Sunshine had more than one amulet? Did she know about the gems? How can this even make sense? Heck, there could even be other ponies with similar jewelry. He massages his head, and tries to calm down, trying to think through this carefully.

The foal feels a pair of forelegs wrap around him and he looks up through the tears to see brown fur and a dark reddish mane in his face. He hugs Ruby back, and though he can't explain why, he feels very comforted by this act.

"H-hey. I'm not so good with this kind of thing. If you uh... Want to talk it out or anything I'll listen, but I can't promise I'll say anything that'll help." Ruby says nervously.

Joyride dashes out of the machine, and towards the door. Emerald breaks the hug and attempts to stop the unicorn, but she barrels passed without a word or even looking at him and exits the room.

There is silence as the colt just stares at the door. He feels a hoof on his shoulder, and Emerald turns back to Ruby again, and embraces her. She reciprocates.
