And now, onto Season 2! While Season 2 is nowhere near as good as Season 1, it still had some nice heartwarming and entertaining moments, great songs (Such as the Smile Song) and introduces us to new characters (Like Daring Do, Tank, Shining Armour, Cadence, Queen Chrysalis and the lord of chaos himself, Discord!).

My favourite episode of Season 2 would be the two-parter episode, The Return of Harmony. It does a fantastic job at introducing Discord. The music was really creepy, the finale scene in the 2nd part was satisfying and the scenes where Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash get hypnotised really gave me vibes to The Jungle Book (The Disney cartoon adaptation)! An awesome way to start the season!

For my least favourite....definitely The Mysterious Mare-Do-Well! That episode is just downright cruel towards poor Rainbow! Okay, sure she was boasting a lot, but that doesn't mean Twilight, Fluttershy, Applejack, Rarity and Pinkie should steal her thunder! If I was Rainbow, I call my friends out and cut them off! There is a really interesting fanfic by Black Kyurem which acts as a squeal to the episode and I will say that if that has been an actual episode, it would have made things a lot better! Now, some people think that Putting Your Hoof Down is the worst episode of Season 2, however, I disagree. In fact, in my opinion, the episode is overhated.

Overall, Season 2 isn't as good as Season 1, but I will say that it is better than three other seasons I'll talk about in time.
