you know those characters where you get actually kind of sad that they didn't go with the concept design? that's how I am with hitch
imo, blue Hitch from the concepts was so good. So for my little redesign of him, I made him blue again c: not only do I think it looks better than the orange/yellow that he has in canon, but it also helps distinguish him from Sunny a lot more so that you don't get confused over whether they're siblings or not, cause to be honest Hitch and Sunny look closer to being siblings than Zipp and Pipp do. I'm not sure why they didn't go with the blue for him
also, I like to headcanon that his special talent specifically lies in caring for and protecting animals, with a bonus of that allowing him to be good at protecting ponies as well. He just seems a lot cooler with an animal themed talent, I didn't really vibe with him being a sheriff
