izzy and hitch celebrate hari raya (day of rejoicing)! #mlpg5

⚠️ THIS IS NOT CULTURAL/RELIGION HEADCANON

hari raya in malay means the (grand) day of rejoicing, and i just felt like drawing how we celebrate eid al-fitr and showing it to everyone

the day is usually spent visiting families and relatives, and sharing a meal together

the malay culture have their own customary sets of clothing worn during hari raya! (anyone can wear it!) izzy is wearing the traditional ‘baju kebaya’(Blue dress) while hitch is wearing the ‘baju melayu’(Green outfit with yellow underneath)

the community garden is decorated with ‘lampu kelap-kelip’ (flickering lights) and izzy is performing one of my favorite traditions, playing with sparklers!
