For the first time in centuries, Chrysalis gestured to her broodmate and relaxed. This time around, she'd be the one incubating, bringing forth a new generation of free-willed hybrids infused with just enough pony DNA to cure the magical corruption Celestia had inflicted upon her. While the Princess hadn't been struck with a curse quite as cruel and long-lasting, it would still deal a critical blow to the morale of her followers long enough to allow her hive to finally evolve and adapt as opposed to merely survive.
