Pinkie Pie is very excited to see you. But then again, we're just as excited as we are to see our favorite cotton candy haired pink party pony.

Today is Pinkie Pie Day. It's all about her. As overly optimistic as Spongebob Squarepants, springy as Tigger, and sweeter than sugar-covered sugar cookies made of just sugar, not to mention giggly, bubbly, perky, playful, energetic, zany, super girly, and with a power-packed dose of peppy positivity, she is the happiest and silliest pony ever. Despite originating from a family of dreary rock farmers, we all know that Pinkie brings laughter and levity to even the most serious situations. She is a free spirit, often acting on her whims and following her heart. As an awesome party planner, Pinkie loves any excuse for a party, be it a welcome party, a birthday party, a cutie mark party, or a party about anything - her party cannon is always ready for a blast of confetti, balloons, cakes, and an instant party. She's among the best friends you will ever make. All she wants to do is make everypony happy. But of course, she does suffer from self-confidence and insecurities. By trying to make everypony happy she worries of letting them down. We all know Pinkie is the best party (and pink) pony ever, and we have to reassure her that there will always be a place for her, and we should make her happy too. I definitely wish I was best friends with Pinkie; she's the best friend you'd ever want to have.

Just like last year, I didn't have an idea for Pinkie Appreciation Day, so I made this vector instead. Thank you so much for all the laughs, the fun, and the parties, Pinkie. We will always love you for them, and more importantly, for being our best friend.
