At the weekend, I invited a few of my closest friends over. I wanted to tell them the news about me and Flim's relationship.
So on the weekend my friends came over and we went to the living room. Sunshower and Twinkleshine sat on the sofa and the rest of us remained standing.
My puppy Lola came to my side when she sensed my mood.
"Are you all right Starry?" Luckette asked worriedly.
"You had something to tell us. You can tell as soon as you feel like it." Twinkleshine said.
I nodded and let out a deep sigh. The others looked at me worriedly.
"Yes. I have something to say. I don't know how to tell you, but the fact is that me and Flim have broken up this week." I said, feeling my eyes water.
"What? Really?" Sunshower asked shocked.
"But you were such a good couple. And you loved each other." Lemon Hearts said surprised.
"I can't believe this... This was... a surprise." Luckette said in surprise.
"What happened, why?" Twinkleshine asked.
"Yes, it's true. And we thought we were right for each other, but apparently not everyone liked it," I said disappointedly.
"What do you mean?" Lemon asked.
"Every time we were out... the other ponies would look at us angrily, especially Flim. Then one time a pony came to the bakery and beat me up because I was with Flim. Everyone around us whispered that we shouldn't be trusted and that he was deceiving everyone. It was all too much ." I said, pausing for a moment.
"Unbelievable. What's wrong with them!?" Luckette exclaimed angrily.
"That's not fair to either of you." Sunshower said sadly.
"That's why we decided that it's not worth making our well-being and feeling worse because of this. So we decided to break up and continue alone." I said sadly.
It was quiet. After a while, my friends came to hug me and we agreed to have fun among the girls.
I am forever grateful for my best friends.
