Discord thinks switching body parts is super hilarious. Little ponies were always so flustered anytime it happened, since the beginning of time. It was simple, yet effective. Poetic Justice is probably used to it by now but still gets a bit frazzled, as seen if you watch his eyebrows. Discord does respect the golden rule: never switch a man’s eyebrows with yours.

Discord and Poet...have a weird relationship. The old draconequus is one of the prince’s best friend’s father... so they were bound to see each other quite a bit. Plus they were both a part of royal families. In the same castle.

The young stallion doesn’t know how to feel about Discord. Poet went through phases when it came to him; deep, hot dislike to nonchalance, to appreciation to admiration. Discord always played tricks on everyone. Discord never took anything seriously. Discord left dishes around. Discord turned Poet’s hair into vipers during one of his birthday parties with his crush present. Discord...caused so, so much ire with his mother, Twilight Sparkle. Things have mostly been forgiven and swept under the rug but knowing the creature has messed with family left a bitter taste in Poet’s mouth that he is wary to forget.

Of course that doesn’t mean that he couldn’t appreciate the old kook from time to time. Poet is quite interested in Discord’s Chaos - the draconequus teaching him a few tricks and spells as a courtesy. He also knows Discord loves Hijack and would do anything for her, even if he wasn’t the best father figure around. Triple Turbo Grande Sundae and Morning Harvest were cool with him. Discord scared the shit out of Johnny Gold so he was a John-o-Repellent. He had his positives.

But he did want Poet to marry one of his daughters, which gets on Poet’s nerves because of my sweet celestia he always brought it up at the worst times.
