Gallus and Scootaloo:
They knew of each other but never interacted much during their time in Ponyville.
Scootaloo actually leaves Ponyville when she becomes an adult and wants to achieve her daredevil dreams of traveling and taking on dangerous adventures.
Gallus stays close to Ponyville, though he goes home to his griffon home once in awhile to visit family.
They meet again during a rescue of some poor mountain climbing ponies stuck on top of a craggy, snowy ledge. They actually disliked each other a lot and it took awhile for them to get along. The griffon is a captain in the royal guard of Canterlot and Scootaloo wasn't the hugest fan. She let him know. He was stationed near where she was staying at Mt. Everhorn. Eventually....the heart can grow fonder and Scoot's sure did, slowly like the thawing of berries during winter. Being the confident mare, she lets him know straight up how she felt by asking (demanding) he buy her dinner.
During their time together Scootaloo falls pregnant, and they decide to keep the baby. They then marry due to obligation on Gallus' end.
Gobstopper was born in the summer on a hot, blistering night in Oatstralia (thanks Lop).
It was a rough start. Scootaloo felt trapped. Gallus felt like he wasn't there enough for his babe and wife. It almost broke them but with the help of friends and Gallus championing the need for soldiers to spend precious time with their newborns they got through it together.
They are so, so thankful that their son was born healthy and happy... even if they weren't at the time. Scootaloo and Gallus are now very close and adore they heck out of each other :D
Gobstopper:
Gobbi for short, Gobstopper Loo is a natural born hippogriff.
Honeydew Raindrop and him at best friends.
He takes a lot after his mom and loves to skateboard and ride the scooter.
Also got her loudmouth and brash attitude.
Despite this, he is closet to his dad even if Gallus is a government dog D:<
He is an ace student along with Honey but doesn't take school too seriously. He's actually a class clown/bully and isn't well liked by faculty or other students.
Since Gallus is away a lot now that Gobbi is older, Scoots is the one who always comes to talk to the teachers about her son's behavior. Suffice to say...Gallus doesn't know a lot about his own son's shenanigans since Scoots is kind of a pushover when it comes to school stuff.
Gobbi is actually a lot like a big cat.
He likes to bird watch as a secret hobby.
Fur and feathers smells of bubby gum and rainbows. He hates this.
Scar on beak is from a skateboarding accident. It does impact the way he eats nuts (his favorite food).

Hey! Did these on a whim - wanted to draw Scootaloo and her family ;D I feel Scoots had a hard life and deserves a happy family that she loves very much. She has a hunky, heroic husband who can catch up to her wit and sarcasm and a handsome son who loves sharing hobbies with her. The boys may looks serious here but they both got resting bitch faces, lol.

Gobstopper isn't a bad kid per say, but he does have problems that stem from him feeling out of place since he is a hybrid. He was the bullied that became the bully. I also wanted to show that not all bullies come from a broken family and sometimes they are just insecure about something within themselves.
